Mr. William A. “Buddy” Blount, 69, a resident of 718 Willis Road, Aurora, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Reid’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Reid’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
Mr. Blount was born in Beaufort County and retired from PCS Phosphate Co. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Barber Blount of the home; daughters, Valerie Blount and Tracy Blount of Aurora; sisters, Dorothy Wilson, Leah Moore, Diane Williams, and Belinda Hamilton.
A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. today at W.E. Flanagan Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends at 525 Weston Road, Grimesland.
Arrangements are by W.E. Flanagan Memorial Funeral Home.
