In early New Hampshire Primary results, former Governor Mitt Romney is projected to win the New Hampshire Republican Primary, with U.S. Representative Ron Paul running a distant second and former Governor Jon Huntsman running a more distant third. Former Speaker of the House New Gingrich is battling former Senator Rick Santorum for a very distant fourth place.
On the ballot, in this election, the electoral joust between Gringrich and Santorum is the only poll position that is not decided in these early results. All other poll positions, in this early vote count, should finish as projected.
Mitt Romney will become the first candidate, that is not a sitting Republican President, to win both the Iowa Republican Caucus and the New Hampshire Republican Primary.
The next Republican primary will be held in South Carolina on January 12, 2012.
