William Edward Daniels and Donald Leon Keech, Jr Arrested for Breaking and Entering, Larceny


    On November 27, 2011,
William Edward Daniels
the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Breaking and Entering, Larceny, and Injury to Property on two commercial fishing vessels docked at a seafood company in Belhaven, NC. The victims reported fire extinguishers were removed, windows broken, and equipment tampered with causing one of the fishing vessels to sink. The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation, collected evidence, and conducted interviews.

    On December 14, 2011, Investigator Wesley Waters applied for and obtained warrants charging Donald Leon Keech, Jr, age 18, of Riverview Lane in Belhaven and William Edward Daniels, age 19, of Tate Road in Belhaven with two(2) counts each of Breaking and Entering a Boat, two (2) counts each of Misdemeanor Larceny, and two(2) counts each of Injury to Personal Property.

    On December 14th, Daniels turned himself in at the Beaufort County Magistrate’s Office and was held on a $5,000 secured bond set by Magistrate David
Donald Leon Keech, Jr
Curtis. On December 15th, Tate turned himself in at the Beaufort County Magistrate’s Office and was held on a $5,000 secured bond set by Magistrate David Curtis.
