Lee Chevrolet Makes Donation to Shepard Cancer Center

    Part of General Motors National Support of Breast Cancer Awareness

    (Washington, N.C.) - During National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Chevrolet Certified Service is giving customers the option to donate their oil change and brake pad service rebates of $5, $10 and $25 to the American Cancer Society. The partnership is part of a year-long celebration of Chevrolet's 100th birthday on November 3, 2011.

    General Motors is encouraging its dealers to support this effort on a local level as well. To show their commitment, Lee Chevrolet Buick of Washington has made a $1,000 contribution to the Shepard Cancer Foundation. In addition, Lee Chevrolet employees are participating in Paint the Town Pink breast cancer awareness initiative and will be wearing pink shirts and jeans on Fridays during the month of October.
