Steve Jobs, a decidedly original creative force, and one of the most iconic CEOs in the history of the world is dead. Steve Jobs lived 56 years, making each one of those years the building blocks of his ultimate, and most celebrated uniqueness, has died of a rare, and very aggressive form of Pancreatic Cancer after several years of fighting this terrible disease.
Mr. Jobs, through his Apple Brand, employed 49,000 employees, most of them Americans, which they created, and built, and ultimately, wove a collective thread of quality products throughout the fabric of America, and the world. Apple's wide array of products were created in a self-contained world, beginning in Palo Alto, California, where his creative force drove scores of engineers and other technicians to develop both the hardware and software that were built into some of the most innovative products the world has ever known.
Tim Cook was handpicked by Mr. Jobs to succeed himself just two months ago, when he found the juggling of his irrepressible career, and his aggressive cancer untenable.
Steve Jobs, through his creativity, his initiative and his work ethic, represented what was best of we Americans. He will be greatly missed, but fortunately, his symbolic life will be an example of what one can accomplish as an American, for generations immemorial.
May God bless his immortal soul.
