Registration begins Feb. 2 for eight-week classes at BCCC | Eastern North Carolina Now

News Release:

    Beaufort County Community College will offer several eight-week classes this spring to give those interested in enrolling in college or those who would like to add an additional class a chance to do so.

    And most of these courses are available online as part of BCCC's continuing effort to serve those students who live at a distance from the college

    The eight-week classes will begin Tuesday, March 8. Students may register for one or more of these classes beginning Tuesday, Feb. 2, through Monday, March 7.

    The college will offer courses - including Art Appreciation, Music Appreciation, Interpersonal Psychology, General Psychology, Personal Health and Wellness, Writing and Inquiry - that are available for transfer to one of the 16 colleges and universities that are part of the University of North Carolina system.

    The college will also offer business-related courses - including Introduction to Business, Community Policing and Comprehensive Keyboarding - for those who would like to begin training for a career. College Student Success will also be offered as an eight-week course.

    Students should contact Director of Counseling Kimberly Jackson at (252) 940-6252 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to make an appointment to register for these classes.
