Beaufort County has seven municipalities with their own separate municipal governments. Each will have an election, courtesy of the Beaufort County Board of Elections, November 8, 2011. These elections will be part of the process to determine the independent futures of these

Municipalities in these uncertain times.

Now that the candidates have filed, even in these sparse numbers, it is incumbent upon the public to support these candidates, or at least vote on election day.
