In what could be a potentially significant obstacle to the plans to build a windfarm near Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Beaufort County the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service filed a position with the N. C. Utilities Commission 12/5/11 raising concerns about their impact.
Willie D. “Ty” Clark, 60, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday at L.R. Randolph Memorial Chapel.
